What’s Next in February in the Methow Valley

Happy Valentine’s Day!

There is plenty to do this mid-February holiday weekend in the Valley — both on the trails and off! So take a break from looking for real estate here in the Methow and get some time outside! Spend a little time with your Valentine too!

Holiday Weekend Happenings

The trails have been surprisingly fast these past few days! Spring like conditions for the holiday events. Grab Fido, don your best costume and join in for the Annual Doggie Dash on Sunday February 16. Sign up begins in the morning at the Winthrop Town Trailhead. Parade of costumes begins before the races. All dogs must be on a leash and all humans must ski! It’s a hoot. I hope to see you there!

If you left Fido at home or aren’t up for the ski race, Winthrop is also host to the Annual Snowshoe Softball tournament this weekend. Check it out on Saturday and Sunday, February 15 & 16 at the softball fields across from Methow Cycle & Sport.

Things to do when you’re not on the trails

Be sure and check out all the other activities here in the Valley this weekend from art exhibits to great dining. Tappi in Twisp has a great special this weekend! Mussels to share with your sweetheart or keep them all for yourself. Enjoy the holiday weekend here in the Methow Valley.
